Organizing sports events has always been incredibly rewarding for me. I still vividly remember my days as a fresh BBA graduate from Navrachana University, where I organized university-level sports events like Box Cricket, Badminton, and Futsal. The experience of taking an event from planning to execution alongside a team was an invaluable skill I developed during those years.

My journey took an exciting turn when my Papa, Gopal Jasapara, the founder of G Force Cricket Academy, asked me to help organize the biggest cricket festival in Gujarat—the Gujarat Cricket Festival.

My Role at the Gujarat Cricket Festival

My primary responsibility was to attract participants for the festival, manage social media, and market the event to the public. I can still recall visiting various cricket clubs, passionately talking about the event, and driving registrations. Witnessing those successful registrations and seeing the money flow in was a powerful lesson in the importance of selling skills.

The Festival Experience

The Gujarat Cricket Festival was a 10-day extravaganza filled with non-stop cricketing action. It was a true embodiment of “Eat, Sleep, Drink Cricket,” with over 75 budding cricketers participating.

This was my first experience organizing a major off-the-field event, and it was an eye-opener in many ways. From handling logistics to managing social media promotions, every aspect of the festival taught me something new. The sense of accomplishment after running a successful event was unparalleled.
